Utilizing ODB++ to combine Printed Circuit Boards makes it possible to use different CAD programs such as Mentor Expedition or Zuken CR 5000 to get a complete electronic development at one place. With the new Plug-In available for PCB-Investigator "EDA Panel Builder", it is now possible to combine different boards to one Panel.

The picture shows five boards designed with different libraries and stack-up. The source of the PCB design is unimportant just get the output in a proper format like ODB++ or IPC2581. Our flatten feature which also takes care of all net information enables a new way of cross probe PCB data. Net names can be accessed directly on the new panel. All Tools like Component Manager or BOM output will be available now. The new Panel works like an ODB++ Board import including all information. Now cross probing any BUS Systems across Printed Circuit Boards like Board to Board interconnections will be simplified.
