PCB-Investigator supports a wide range of interfaces to machines in the AOI, AXI, SPI, and pick‑and‑place domains. Depending on the manufacturer, data is either exported in a specific machine format or transferred directly to the machine without generating files, enabling immediate data exchange and bidirectional feedback.
PCB Investigator provides machine‑specific configuration options — such as output parameters, panel definitions, filters (e.g., SMT/THT), fiducial settings, library assignments, and special markers depending on the machine type.
Supported Machine Formats
- Goepel
- Koh Young
- MEK AI
- Modus
- Mycronic
- NDF
- Parmi – SPI/AOI with support for component, pad, and package information.
- Siplace QD
- TRI
- Viscom AXI/AOI/SPI – export for vVision and other Viscom formats, including extensive options for laser/camera markers, mapping, libraries, and format-specific structures.
- Yamaha
This variety of formats allows users to prepare PCB data for different systems in a production environment — regardless of which machines are actually used in their own process.
Supported Interfaces
- Essemtec
- Siplace OIB
This seamless integration ensures consistent data flow, as PCB Investigator communicates directly with the machine’s library and receives feedback from the system.
