In combination with ODB++ and IPC 2581, GenCAD is one of the most important PCB data formats mainly used in the manufacturing area.
The GenCAD plug-in enables PCB-Investigator to import and export GenCAD files (based on V1.4.). This allows data to be exchanged between different CAD systems and tools, increasing collaboration and efficiency in PCB design.
With the import of any GenCAD file, all PCB Investigator features are fully available and can be applied to your data, from layer stackup analysis to material information and drilling data.
