PCB-Investigator’s PDF synchronization tool provides an efficient way to synchronize the PCB design with the associated PDF document.
Bi-directional synchronization allows designers and engineers to ensure that all design decisions and changes are correctly documented and traceable.
With this tool, networks and components can be highlighted in the PCB-Investigator as well as displayed in the PDF document. A right-click on an element in the PCB-Investigator shows the corresponding position in the PDF document and vice versa. This bidirectional synchronization makes it easier to find and check design decisions and changes.
One specific example is the synchronization of the layout with a PDF circuit diagram. This allows nets and components to be synchronized between the layout and circuit diagram, which is a great help in the design review process or in EMS production.
