On complex boards, identifying the relevant power and ground connections can take longer than the actual review. The Power Pin Wizard in PCB-Investigator solves that problem by making power and ground pins visible directly in the layout—without changing the design data.

Automatic detection with flexible control
The plugin automatically detects common power and ground nets based on their names. Typical signals such as GND, VCC, 3V3, 5V, 12V, VBAT, and VCORE can be highlighted in structured lists for analysis, review, or documentation.
You can also add nets from your current selection and mark them individually as Ground or Power. The highlighting is applied directly to the pins of all components in the active step, giving you immediate visibility into supply points and the distribution of ground connections.

Color settings can be customized to match your preferred visualization standard, for example blue for ground and red for supply. Selected nets are saved per job and reappear the next time the project is opened.
