The new version 10.2 of PCB-Investigator offers them numerous new import and export formats and additional enhancements.
The new release of version 10.2 contains the following improvements:
- Import of IPC2581 B
- Export of Excellon2 Dateien
- Export of Sieb and Meyer Dateien
- New function of Panel Builders: Drag&Drop
IPC-2581 B:
IPC-2581 is a general standard for description data and transfer methods for printed circuit boards and assemblies. Developed by IPC in 2004, IPC-2581 is used for information transfer between PCB designers and manufacturing. It offers you a standard for almost every step in the industrial process.
With the IPC-2581 plug-in, the PCB-Investigator can easily import data in IPC-2581 format (cvg or xml).
Drag & Drop function of Panel Builder
Using the new Drag & Drop function of Panel Builder you can move and rotate printed circuit boards with just a few mouse clicks – just like playing the game Tetris.You can find further information to this function on a separate blog entry.
